About Us

Tissue regeneration through Innovation
Established in 1998, and based in Bristol, England, Orthos is a biomaterials company with a portfolio of intellectual property applied to the development of synthetic biologically active tissue engineered products for restoration of the human skeleton.

Orthos' advanced osteobiologic materials and cellular technologies are being used by surgeons around the world to regenerate the skeleton following trauma, disease and in advanced surgical procedures such as spinal fusion.

Through a continuous research and development program, in collaboration with several major international universities and centers of clinical excellence, Orthos is focused on developing the next generation orthobiologic devices for the regeneration and restoration of tissue.

Scope and Objective
The purpose of this statement is to formally express and document the company’s aims and objectives regarding quality.

This statement is available to all stakeholders and we hope that it is informative.

 

Quality Policy
Orthos aims to become a recognised and highly respected manufacturer, and supplier of high quality products in every area in which we operate. It’s our goal to achieve a high level of satisfaction for everyone involved, in everything we undertake.

We recognise that if we are going to achieve and maintain the highest standards we need every employee of the company to take responsibility for their input regardless of their role.

We wish to engender a Quality Culture within the company that aims to;

“Get it right the first time and every time!”

To help achieve our aims the company will: -

Operate a clear quality system that allows us to conform to the requirements
of all markets in which we operate

Ensure that our aims are clearly communicated to all of our employees so that they

Implementation
The company’s quality procedures are mandatory upon all employees and will only be deviated from with the authority of the quality manager, or finally the managing director who has ultimate responsibility for quality.

Implementation of the quality policy will be a specific and high priority agenda item for all management meetings and company briefings.
