A synthetic osteoconductive scaffold which is used by orthopaedic surgeons to treat defects of the skeleton such as fractures and in specialist surgical techniques such as spinal surgery.

Osteoboost
Allows the surgeon to harvest or extract stem cells found in a patient’s bone marrow using a minimally invasive technique and to combine them with a synthetic material to produce a bio-active composite.

βGel
An osteoconductive scaffold in the form of a malleable gel which stiffens and becomes resistant to displacement by body fluids as it reaches body temperature. βGel achieved CE approval in January 2011 and is expected to be approved for sale by the FDA later this year.
